The printed colors are completely different from those of the original photograph


Several factors may cause the colors in the printout to differ from those in the original photograph.

First, the settings of the device used to import the original photograph affect the colors in a printout. If you use a film or flatbed scanner, check the settings of the scanner software.

The printer settings can also affect the way in which color is printed.

After you have calibrated the color on your monitor, adjust the aforementioned settings and try printing again.
